Mr. Sherrill received his AAS in nursing from Roane Community College in 1995 and his BSN from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011.  Previous President of National Student Nurses Association at Roane State Community College.  Who’s Who in American Junior Colleges and Universities.  Senior Practical Nursing Instructor for the Tennessee Board of Regents with over 12 years teaching and 16 years of nursing experience in Medical -Surgical nursing,  Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He is an instructor for the American Heart Association with students winning state and national recognition.   He is a contributor to Lippincott Williams and Wilkins and Mosby’s for Medical Surgical Nursing and Pharmacology.  His work has been published in text utilized by programs throughout the country.  Trained in psychometrics of test development and testing strategies necessary to evaluate student proficiency he is a contributor and test writer for national exams.  He is a veteran of the US Army where he was instructor cadre for US Army Air Defense School.  Member of the American Technical Education Association, Rural Health Association of Tennessee, and Tennessee Nurses Association.
