OSHA Training

Several instructors attended the OSHA safety training workshop at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro on July 17 & 18, 2008.  Topics covered in the training were:  personal protective equipment, machine guards and tool safety, fall protection, electrical safety and other hazard prevention measures.  Instructors received curriculum materials, as well as, an OSHA certificate for the 10 hour course.  This in-service activity kicks off a safety awareness initiative at TTCC to heighten awareness and emphasize the importance of workplace safety.
