


Course Description:
This program is instructed by
Bobby Wyatt. It
is a self-paced program with both classroom and practical work including theory,
application, and service. This course is designed to provide instruction in
the techniques, skills and technical information necessary for entry level employment.
Major blocks of instruction
include:
* Thermodynamic & Electrical Theory
* refrigeration
* air-conditioning
* heat pumps
* heating, and system design.
Upon course completion, students have entry level skills in a variety of domestic,
commercial, and light commercial service areas. Refrigerant handling certification
is required for all diploma awards. In addition, graduates are encouraged to
take one of the four national certification tests available.
